FRENCH WATCHES

March LA.B designs and assembles its watches in France. The Swiss automatic movements that we fit into our timepieces are assembled from A to Z in France. In complete transparency, we are thus pursuing our watchmaking quest to design watches that are “as French as possible”.

FRENCH STRAPS

The 20 mm leather straps proposed to be adapted on the MANSART are manufactured in the Franche Comté region. They are systematically lined with green leather and equipped with the "presto" system allowing them to be interchanged in a few seconds and without any special tools.

The steel bracelets equipped with the same “presto” system are an assembly of 7 patiently brushed flat links closed by an ultra-flat and reliable jeweler's buckle for ultimate wearing comfort.

The MANSART Model

The heart of our watches swings between Los Angeles and Biarritz. Their style between the castles of Mansart and the castle Marmont, between classicism and modernity. This 34 mm shaped watch takes up the octagonal architecture of Place Vendôme designed by Jules Hardouin-Mansart, architect of the Sun King. Nobility, majesty, symmetry and balance of forms... The MANSART is its contemporary tribute. Terribly classic, and deliciously modern at the same time.

MOVEMENT

Swiss Quartz Movement

Distinguished by its precision and reliability, the Swiss quartz caliber RONDA 517 proves to be the best choice for many luxury watch brands due to its very high quality performance.

This Swiss movement is equipped with a quartz oscillator that uses electrical vibrations to maintain remarkably high time accuracy. It is also equipped with a temperature regulation system, which allows the frequency of the movement to be adjusted according to thermal fluctuations, thus guaranteeing constant precision whatever the ambient conditions.

In addition to its precision, it is also designed to be extremely reliable and durable. It features a long-life power supply system that enables battery life of up to 60 months. About 2 weeks before the end of battery life, an indicator called EOL causes the second hand to jump (seconds hand) every 4 seconds to signal the need to change the battery.

THE GREEN THREAD

March LA.B's "Green Thread" is an omnipresent green signature through subtle details. The number 3 in green on the personalized date stamp recalling the favorite month of the founders of the brand. The green lining of the bracelets topstitched with a bridle stitch in the emblematic green color. The luminous green “skeleton” background on the automatic versions.
The interior of the emerald green travel case…

This "Green Thread" extends this "design grammar" that we have developed in order to identify our timepieces through precise and redundant aesthetic codes: The crown or winder at 4 o'clock and its guillochage of the intertwined lines of the M of the brand, the seventies typography of the date stamp, the dials without numbers with cut-out indexes, the raised and domed glass, the ubiquitous angles on the cases that are always polished and brushed.

All of these aesthetic and chromatic details to be discovered in intimacy shape the common thread of March LA.B which leads straight to the heart.
