The BELZA is a watch designed and built by surfers for surfers. We developed this 200 meter waterproof watch by testing it in the optimal and harsh conditions of the Basque coast. Our community of surfer friends, "Justin, Pierre, Maxime, Clovis, Stéphane and the others..." as Claude Sautet would say, meticulously mistreated her by immersing her in the sandy tubes of La Gravière in Hossegor up to the winter mountains of 'Avalanche in Guethary.

We developed this 200 meter waterproof watch by testing it in the optimal and harsh conditions of the Basque coast. Our community of surfer friends, "Justin, Pierre, Maxime, Clovis, Stéphane and the others..." as Claude Sautet would say, meticulously mistreated her by immersing her in the sandy tubes of La Gravière in Hossegor up to the winter mountains of 'Avalanche in Guethary.

Its 40 mm case is robust and its 32 mm opening is circumscribed by a large ceramic bezel whose rim is chiseled with the interlaced lines of the M of March LA.B found on the crown invariably placed at 4 o'clock. A positioning that avoids damaging the back of the hands during the twists necessary for the "duck".

The massive chiseled indexes are coated with Luminova like the larger hands on this model for better visibility.

The counter surrounded by a chiseled steel window features a date stamp with very retro white numerals printed on a black background, revealing the number 3 in green once a month.

On the back of the watch, the bottom is assembled with a gold-colored relief plate representing the Villa Belza in Biarritz.

The BRONZE model of the BELZA GITANA is equipped with a blue vertical brushed dial in steel printed with discreet markings and railroad in light gray. Its sporty and elegant appearance makes it a perfect timeless fashion accessory for all occasions.

The 20 mm colored silicone bracelets are assembled with more resistant screwed bars, just like the 3-link steel bracelets that we have "reshaped" by adding micro cells on the back for better comfort when worn.

The BELZA is an amphibious watch for urban surfers.

GITANA, it is almost 150 years of sailing history with the willing of being the best. The race Team founded by Ariane and Benjamin de Rothschild in the wake of the marine family passion is a real innovation laboratory that creates always more powerful sailing boats.

MARCH LA.B offers Iconic watches inspired by the Seventies assembled in France by highly qualified master watchmakers who diligently respect the French watchmaking principles : quality, technology, reliability and precision.

GITANA and MARCH LA.B combined their strengths to develop a marine watch comfortable in all sailing conditions : the BELZA GITANA. A 40mm watch powered by an automatic Swiss movement with 68 hours power reserve, 200 m waterproof, and available in two limited edition version : rose bronze or stainless steel case.

This BELZA GITANA watch has been developed for the Maxi Edmond de Rothschild’s sailors to follow them through their marine adventures and sport achievements, like during the recent ROUTE DU RHUM-DESTINATION GUADELOUPE. A legendary race won by Charles CAUDRELIER who add his name on the track record last 16th November. Race’s favourite, Maxi Edmond de Rothschild’s skipper assumed his status and allowed GITANA to win the race a second time after its historic 2006 victory. 6 days, 19 hours, 47 minutes, 25 seconds, is the new Saint – Malo to Pointe-à-Pitre’s crossing record.

Despite the already incredible results, 2022 is still up and running for GITANA. Indeed, in a few days or weeks, the team will attempt to set up a new absolute speed record around the world : the Trophée JULES VERNE. An amazing adventure around the globe of which MARCH LA.B will be the team’s Official Time Keeper.

Movement :

Franco-Swiss Automatic MovementThe first movement resulting from the partnership between the Swiss manufacture La Joux-Perret and the Bisontine family house Humbert-Droz, the G100 is a new three-hand automatic caliber with date, endowed with a fine 68-hour power reserve and a proven architecture.

This ultra-precise movement equipped with 24 jewels measuring 24.6 mm x 4.45 mm develops a frequency of 4 Hz and 28,800 vibrations.

Equipped with a Stop Second, it is extremely precise varying between - 4 and + 6 seconds per day and offers a power reserve of 68 hours more commonly called "Weekend proof" allowing the watch to operate from Friday evening to Monday morning without it being carried by its happy owner.

March LA.B positions itself as a pioneer of “watchmaking responsibility” with the desire to bring together skills and join forces for a movement 100% machined in Switzerland and 100% assembled in France.
