In 1957, an American filmmaker named Peter Viertel arrived in France with a surfboard in his luggage, landing on the Côte des Basques in Biarritz. The local kids, the future "Surfing Uncles," discovered with him the joys of riding the waves of this beach overlooked by a majestic residence, the Villa Belza. Surfing was born.
Borrowing its proud name from this timeless icon, our BELZA was designed for surfing.

The BELZA Titanium watch is worn on a khaki green jacquard bracelet made by Maison JULIEN FAURE. Since 1864, this company, located in the Saint Etienne region, has been perpetuating the art of Jacquard weaving.
A flagship of the artisanal shuttle weaving technique using fine threads, Maison JULIEN FAURE designs watch straps that are refined, lightweight, ultra-resistant, and comfortable. These amphibious straps were developed through a close, 100% French collaboration for our action watches.
