We have developed this 200 meters waterproof watch by testing it in the optimal and extreme Côte Basque conditions. Our surfer friend’s community, "Justin, Pierre, Maxime, Clovis, Stéphane and the others..." as Claude SAUTET would say, have meticulously mistreated their BELZA by surfing with it in the sandy La Gravière barrels in Hossegor up to the Avalanche winter mountains in Guethary.

The BELZA 40 mm case is bold and strong with a 32 mm opening surrounded by a large ceramic bezel whose rim is chiseled with the interlaced March LA.B M lines also engraved on the signature screwed crown always located at 4 o'clock. A position that avoids damaging the hands while twisting the hands for the "duck dive".

The massive chiseled indexes are coated with Luminova as well as the wider hands for a better readability.

The stamped date is surrounded by a metal window frame.
The very retro white digits are printed on a black background that displays the number 3 in green once a month.

The case back is made of a gold-colored relief plate representing the famous Villa Belza in Biarritz.

The BELZA is powered by the G100 movement with its comfortable 68 hours power reserve.

The OCEAN model is assembled with a blue sandy dial, steel indexes printed with tonal markings and railroad in light gray.

March LA.B designs and assembles its watches in France. The Swiss automatic movements that we fit into our timepieces are assembled from A to Z in France. In complete transparency, we are thus pursuing our watchmaking quest to design watches that are “as French as possible”.

FRENCH STRAPS

The 20 mm colored silicone bracelets are assembled with more resistant screwed bars, just like the 3-link steel bracelets that we have "reshaped" by adding micro cells on the back for better comfort when worn.

MORE THAN A DIVER, A SURFER

True to our roots, honest with our passions, consistent with our vision... we have developed not a "Diver" but rather a "Surfer".

In 1957, an American filmmaker named Peter Viertel arrived in France with a surfboard in his luggage, landing on the Côte des Basques in Biarritz. The local kids, the future "Surfing Uncles," discovered with him the joys of riding the waves of this beach overlooked by a majestic residence, the Villa Belza. Surfing was born.

Borrowing its proud name from this timeless icon, our BELZA was designed for surfing.

A screw-down crown, a silicone strap, water resistance to 200 meters – it has all the attributes of a watch destined to spend its life in the water... a dream life!!

OPTIMAL READABILITY

The dial of the BELZA Automatic is constructed with the "cross hair" typical of the 70s.

It is equipped with solid indexes and a set of wide hands filled with Luminova for optimum night or underwater reading.

The steel window positioned at 3 o'clock displays numbers in retro typography in white on a black background and in green on the 3rd of each month.

A printed railway surrounds the whole thing.

The M logo is a finely cut appliqué while the BELZA logo is made of Luminova to glow in the dark.

Luminova is applied to the face of the needles.

UNI-DIRECTIONAL CERAMIC SENSOR

The bezels of the BELZA Automatic watches are made of ceramic, which gives them high scratch resistance and optimal readability in all circumstances.

They rotate on "120 clicks" for precise time measurement.

The interlaced lines of March LA.B are chiseled with very high precision around the circumference of the edge.

The overall effect is harmonious and completes the signature construction of the case.

Franco-Swiss Movement

Very first movement born with the Swiss manufacture La Joux-Perret and the Besançon family house Humbert-Droz partnership, the G100 is a new three-hand automatic caliber with date, powered with a beautiful 68-hour power reserve and designed with a proven architecture.

Equipped with a Stop Second, this G100 movement is extremely accurate with a time precision range between - 4 and + 6 seconds per day and offers a power reserve of 68 hours usually called "Weekend proof" allowing the watch to keep running from Friday evening to Monday morning without being worn by its happy owner.

March LA.B positions itself as a pioneer of “watchmaking responsibility” with the desire to bring together skills and join forces for a movement 100% machined in Switzerland and 100% assembled in France.

BRACELETS THAT CAN LAST ANYTHING

Like our watches, our bracelets are designed with the utmost attention to detail, the use of the finest materials and the collaboration of the best craftsmen, to perfectly fit the lugs of our watches.

Extremely robust, our steel bracelet is constructed from three links that we have shaped to be more angular and match the multiple bevels of our cases. The interior replicates the look of micro-perforations to optimize comfort in case of extreme perspiration.

Our silicone bracelets are designed to accompany you in all circumstances. They feature the elegant lines of our logo along their entire length.

Whether in steel or silicone, all our bracelets are interchangeable without tools, since they are equipped with the presto system.
