This beautiful book tells the unique story of March LA.B, a French watch brand born in 2009 under the impetus of Alain Marhic.
Between the beaches of Los Angeles and Biarritz, it draws its inspiration from 1960s aesthetics to create timepieces that are both modern and tinged with nostalgia. More than a brand, March LA.B embodies a lifestyle: the subtle balance between Californian relaxation and Basque chic. Through its artistic collaborations – carte blanche given to young artists from Biarritz – and its refined universe, the house celebrates the stretching of time, style that transcends eras, and the creative soul that defines it.
The author, Judikael Hirel, is a journalist specializing in watchmaking and head of the Watchmaking department for Le Figaro. He is also the author of Guide des montres vintage (Le Cherche Midi).
