March LA.B was born in the Basque country 13 years ago. By designing this EUSKAL AM2 we wanted to pay tribute to this “land of plenty” which welcomed us with wide open arms and celebrate at the same time this contagious “joie de vivre” that our Basque friends perpetuate thru their rich and generous culture.

MARCH LA.B today introduces the world's first Basque watch ever. This EUSKAL AM2 features a date and day window that can be displayed in either French or Basque.

We've adapted the days of the week in Basque so that they can be understood with the 3 possible letters of the day displayed.

The AM2 Euskal is mounted on a taurillon strap tanned by Rémy Carriat, a Basque tanner.

FRENCH WATCHES

March LA.B designs and assembles its watches in France. The Swiss automatic movements that we fit into our timepieces are assembled from A to Z in France. In complete transparency, we are thus pursuing our watchmaking quest to design watches that are “as French as possible”.

FRENCH STRAPS

The 22 mm leather straps compatible with the the AM2 are manufactured in the Franche Comté region. They are systematically lined with green leather and equipped with the "presto" system allowing them to be interchanged in a few seconds and without any special tools.
The steel bracelets made of an assembly of 7 patiently brushed links closed by an ultra-flat and reliable jeweler's buckle, are equipped with the same “presto” system.

Tous les boitiers des montres March LA.B répondent à des critères de construction scrupuleusement respectés.

Invariablement poli-brossé ils captent la lumière ambiante pour donner vie à votre montre.

Le boitier de 12,5 mm d’épaisseur en 39 mm de la AM2 est radicalement caréné. Les flancs sont tranchants et anguleux et la couronne placée à 4 heures est volontairement intégrée dans un « décrochement » de la carrure.

Le logo M de March LA.B recouvert d’une laque finalise une couronne ronde ciselée des lignes entrelacées de March LA.B.

L'AM2 Electrique est équipée d'un verre minéral traité anti-reflets, réhaussé et légèrement bombé pour un effet 70’s assuré. 

ULTRA-PRECISION SWISS QUARTZ MOVEMENT

Distinguished by its precision and reliability, the Swiss quartz caliber RONDA 517 proves to be the best choice for many luxury watch brands due to its very high-quality performance.

This Swiss movement is equipped with a quartz oscillator that uses electrical vibrations to maintain remarkably high timekeeping accuracy. It also features a temperature regulation system, which adjusts the movement's frequency according to temperature fluctuations, thus ensuring consistent accuracy regardless of ambient conditions.

In addition to its precision, it is also designed to be extremely reliable and durable. It features a long-life power supply system that allows for a battery life of up to 45 months. Approximately two weeks before the battery is depleted, an indicator called EOL (End of Life) causes the seconds hand to jump every four seconds to signal the need for a battery change.
