AUTOMATICS MOVEMENTS

The LA JOUX-PERRET Swiss made movement assembled in France by our Watchmakers is the heart of the MARCH LA.B automatic collection.

Thanks to the partnership established with this manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds, SWITZERLAND, the G100 movement comes in spare parts in Besançon to be fully assembled, set, and cased on-site by our French watchmakers, thereby becoming the first true  'Franco-Swiss' movement.

True to our attention to details and our uncompromising standards for finishing, we take advantage of the movement assembling stages to perforate our rotors in France with our signature intertwined lines from MARCH LA.B logo.

This 24 jewels perpetual engine, precise and reliable is providing a 68h power reserve.

This 'perpetual' engine, equipped with 24 jewels, is ultra-reliable and highly accurate, providing a power reserve of 68 hours, known as 'weekend proof' (your watch can run perfectly throughout an entire weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning without interruption and being worn ).

 GOOD PRACTICES :

Never change the date between 11:30 PM and 2:00 AM in order to avoid any damages on the movement.

To restart the movement when the power reserve is empty, remember to wind it by doing about twenty turns clockwise.

 MAINTENANCE :

To keep an optimal accuracy and a full power reserve, we recommend a service every 5 years on all the Automatic watches. This involves disassembling, cleaning, reassembling, and complete oiling of the movement, as well as precision and water-resistance controls.

ELECTRIC MOVEMENTS

In the MARCH LA.B language, 'Electric' watches refers to timepieces equipped with a quartz movement.

Our electric watches are equipped with Swiss RONDA quartz calibers, known for their accuracy and reliability.

This Swiss movement assembled with a quartz oscillator uses electrical vibrations to keep a very high time accuracy. With the temperature regulation system allowing the movement frequency to be adjusted according to thermal fluctuations, a constant precision whatever the ambient conditions is guaranteed.

In addition to its precision, it is also designed to be extremely reliable and durable. It features a long-life power supply system that enables around 36 months battery life. About 2 weeks before the battery end of life, an indicator called EOL makes the second hand jumping every 4 seconds to tell that battery needs to be changed.

MAINTENANCE :

Unlike automatic movements, quartz movements do not require any specific servicing, except for battery replacement.

WATER RESISTANCE AND SURF WATCHES

A watch is water-resistant thanks to its gaskets exposed to several forms of outside aggressions (dust, perspiration, temperature variations…). Consequently, the water-resistance test should be performed each time the watchcase is opened.

Every time a watch is opened, for any reason, it must undergo a water resistance check along with a seal replacement.

Our surf watches feature a screw-down crown.

The BELZA, with its solid case back, is waterproof up to 20 ATM / 200 meters.

The BONZER, with its skeleton case back, is recommended for 10 ATM / 100 meters.

Our surf watches have been tested by pro-surfers in the most extreme surf conditions of the Basque coast."

GOOD PRACTICES:

Crown should not be adjusted while the watch is under water.

For SURF WATCHES equipped with a screw-down crown, please ensure that it is properly screwed in before immersion.

Rinse your MARCH LA.B after each swim to prevent attacks from external elements (chlorine, salt, etc.) and to ensure good and lasting rotation of your bezel.

To ensure your watches runs perfectly, please avoid any exposures to significant temperature changes (such as coming out of hot showers) that could cause condensation inside your case. These conditions can also damage the oils which are key for the movement accuracy and durability.
